Hello! My name is Angie Li, I am an Executive Consultant here at DB Results’ Melbourne office.
It’s difficult for me to pinpoint a single role here as I wear multiple hats within the company! That said, my main gig is in Sales and Advisory, where I work closely with businesses, helping them navigate strategic challenges, improve performance and achieve their long-term goals. I dive deep into business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend tailored solutions across areas like strategy, operations, technology, finance, and management. Additionally, I support the Sales team by gathering requirements, understanding customer needs, and determining the best delivery approach, schedule, and cost estimates to close the deal.
On top of that, I serve as Head of Digital at DB Results, ensuring our methodology stays sharp, future-focussed and relevant. My job includes everything from refining our approach to developing training materials and ensuring projects stay on track with the right governance.
My third role is as a Delivery Executive, where I’m responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects. This includes coordinating teams, managing risks, and ensuring we deliver high-quality results on time and within scope. Right now, I’m leading several projects. One project that’s nearing completion involves the development of an application for tenants to report inadequate living conditions. We’re also about to kick off a project to design a comprehensive Design System and Live Style Guide. Separately with a different client, we’re finalising the design for Release 3 of a pre-surgery screening application aimed at digitising and automating a previously manual, paper-based process. The system, built on OutSystems, enhances workflows, reduces cognitive load for doctors, and streamlines the patient care process.
Each day brings something new. Some days, I’m in customer workshops, helping them shape their digital transformation strategies. Other days, I’m leading projects, managing teams, and ensuring our projects run smoothly. I also collaborate with the OutSystems team to fuel business growth, uncover new opportunities and support clients in their journey to innovate and modernise. Every day is a mix of problem-solving, strategy, and connecting with people to make things happen.

From boat insurance to defence payroll systems, I love exploring niche topics and using that knowledge to solve problems. I also enjoy the constant opportunity to connect with new people, learn from different perspectives, and collaborate across diverse teams. It’s incredibly rewarding to build relationships and apply my expertise to help clients succeed.
Outside of DB Results, I’m all about sports, whether it’s playing, competing, or cheering on the underdogs. I’m also always up for trying new things, like going on spontaneous road trips, checking out cool new restaurants, or exploring new shows. I’ve got a soft spot for bakeries (I’m constantly on the lookout for the best pastries). And I love cooking, especially experimenting with new recipes.
As for hobbies, I’m always looking for a new one. Currently, I’m enjoying cross-stitching, jigsaw puzzles, and other relaxing activities. However, my heart lies in travel. On weekends, I prefer a mix of downtime and socialising. I’m not an early riser, but I enjoy a peaceful Sunday morning, followed by brunch and a bit of free time for whatever comes next.
I take pride in my tenacity, determination, and resilience. I don’t shy away from challenges, even when stepping out of my comfort zone. I’ve moved to several new cities, each time building a fresh network and establishing myself in new environments. While it can be daunting, I love embracing change and growing through these experiences.
Ultimately, it’s about tackling challenges head-on and never backing down from the next big adventure – whether it’s in business or life! I enjoy navigating what comes next, learning from it and feeling content with the progress I make along the way.
