When we look back and reflect on 2021, while it has been another COVID impacted year, it has also been one of great achievements under challenging and changing conditions. WFH (Work From Home) has become the new norm for many companies, yet we have been able to continue to leverage our traditional delivery strengths in Digital Transformation and Project Rescues for a few of Australia’s largest financial transformation programs.
In 2020 as the work force moved out of the office, many companies had to rush so they could enable their workers to work remotely, creating security challenges and putting stress on many systems not necessarily designed for a digital world. We’ve found this year, with a little bit of time, companies have wanted reviews done of their total systems environment, architecture, infrastructure and including Cyber preparedness, with many deciding now is the time to transition to Cloud.
This has created a new wave of digital transformation, and we have been taking existing and new customers (across many different industries) on the journey. Our Advisory and Technology services team has delivered on Strategy to Reality by harnessing the vision at a strategic level, through a rapid digital transformation that is enabling companies to provide a great customer experience. Underpinned by a robust, scalable, secure architecture to support growth.
Adding to the challenge for many customers, has been difficulty in staff retention locally and internationally. This has seen a greater demand for our advisory service offerings and the need to develop systems faster. Working with the OutSystems low code development platform, has enabled us to deliver systems faster, better, and cheaper internationally across many countries... Australia, Hong Kong, Philippines, Thailand, UK, USA, and industries (global human resources company, travel, government, financial services, superannuation, insurance, banking, FMCG, mining, telecommunications, health, aged care, software, legal and utility companies) during 2021.
Our purpose of “Making a Difference” in the areas of Health, Environment, Lifestyle and Poverty has been exemplified this year, through our Health and wellbeing app MiOK, that is being used by a dozen NFP’s including Salvation Army and MHFA (Mental Health Foundation Australia) to name a few.
DB Results still has the same commitment to all our customers as the day we started 17 years ago, that we will always deliver and look forward to continuing to do so for you in 2022.
