Philanthropy and profitability are not mutually exclusive. Profitability can be a major enablement tool in driving greater results from philanthropic initiatives and should be seen as a valuable instrument for business to achieve major social and economic change.

Successful companies must have a social change agenda. It's no longer enough to just serve your customers. Organisations are now being measured based on their social contribution as well as their business performance.
