Our purpose, to ‘enrich the lives of others’, is realised by driving innovative and digital change for our customers, in turn improving their businesses and enriching the lives of end consumers. At our Annual Customer Function, we showcased the innovative technologies that support the delivery of our purpose, launching our first digital cloud product, SelfServePortal, which “will empower Australian consumers to better manage, control and understand their electricity, water and gas usage.” (Swan, D. SelfServePortal is a white label product for utility companies, providing the everyday utility consumer with a holistic view of their residential billing and usage history via their smartphone, tablet or desktop computer. Additional features will also be available to allow consumers to easily pay for their utility bills on any digital device. The initial release of SelfServePortal will be available to major utility companies in the Australian and North American markets from 1st October 2016.
The soft launch of SelfServePortal sparked great interest locally and created a positive buzz throughout the night, where it was clear DB Results’ future is as Digital Business specialists. As always, the guest list was complete with old friends and new customers from the industries we serve. As part of our commitment to enriching the lives of others, we announced the donation of water pumps to overseas communities bereft of clean accessible water, a contribution made on behalf of all guests and DB Results to UNICEF’s “Gifts of life, for life” charitable program.
