As we reflect on the year 2024, we are filled with pride and gratitude for the accomplishments of DB Results—not just in delivering outstanding outcomes for our customers and business partners, but in creating meaningful change within our communities.
Guided by our purpose to HELP (to lead changes that enhance and enrich people’s lives in Health, Environment, Lifestyle, and Poverty), we have supported numerous charitable organisations and initiatives throughout the year, leveraging our expertise to scale their services and create a lasting impact.
In our commitment to making a meaningful difference, we provided in-kind support to many of our not-for-profit partners, leveraging our digital technology and business skills for scaling their services for a greater and more long-lasting impact.
Throughout the year, we engaged in various activities, including donations to support worthy causes including prostate cancer research and children’s cancer charity support, in-kind support such as the provision of advisory services and technology development solutions to the not-for-profit (NFP) and charities sector, and providing a ‘leg up’ to support amazing charities making a difference in society, totalling an impressive $2.45 million!
We were delighted to see that two of the ten water tanks we funded were built and operational in Myanmar, providing clean water to much needed communities. Our staff volunteered to provide home cooked meals to support families of sick children through the Ronald McDonald House in Sydney. Over 100 staff have been involved through the year in fundraising events where DB Results matched the staff donations to support numerous charities, with the Push-Up Challenge and STEPtember being favourites.
Our initiatives include technology solutions, technology advice, and donations that support: Hand-n-Hand, My Room Children’s Cancer Charity, RULE/Australian Prostate Centre/EJ Whitten Foundation, World Vision, FightMND, Black Dog Institute, Lighthouse Foundation, Lenexa Medical Smart Sheet, MiOK, Swinburne University, Siriraj Hospital in Thailand, Helping Hands across the Sands in Bali, and we welcomed our newest NFP partner on MiOK: Down Syndrome Victoria.
The business of helping is deeply ingrained in how we approach everything we do. We’re proud of the role our team has played in delivering projects and solutions that embody our commitment to improving lives.
In recent years, we’ve had the pleasure of giving our customers gifts to show our thanks for their support throughout the year. As part of our ongoing dedication to HELP, this Christmas, we’re supporting My Room Children’s Cancer Charity through their 2024 Holiday Giving initiative, bringing joy and relief to families facing the challenges of childhood cancer.
My Room is running a Christmas fundraiser again: the 2024 Holiday Giving initiative. This year, the focus is on bringing a little extra joy to the families of loved ones undergoing treatment for their cancer by providing gift cards to parents or carers, allowing them to personally select gifts for their children.
