Hello, my name is Emma. I am the Delivery Services Lead based in Australia, working from DB Results’ Sydney Office.
I form part of a team that services the internal business and looks after everything from resourcing/workforce management, financial and delivery reporting, recruitment and most importantly, our people! It is a diverse role and I am lucky to have been given terrific opportunities since starting my career at DB Results.
No two days are the same, and that’s what keeps it exciting and interesting. My specialisation lies in project resourcing, where I help in determining the best suited individuals to deliver the highest quality outcomes for our customers. A hidden talent of mine is knowing the skillset and background of all of our consultants within the business from memory!
One of my favourite parts of my role is the amount of touch points I have across the business and the access I get to each of the various teams which gives me an opportunity to continuously connect with our people.
My DB Results career highlight is being awarded the Managing Director Award for Excellence at DB Results’ 2022 Annual Awards Night. It was very unexpected but greatly appreciated to be acknowledged and recognised. There have been many small wins along the way but that was definitely a stand-out moment for me.
Apart from working at DB Results, I am incredibly fortunate to live near the magnificent Bondi Beach. Consequently, you'll often find me there on sunny weekends. Recently, I've embraced a new challenge of taking sunrise ice-baths on the beach, something I’ve always wanted to try. I can attest that it truly provides a mental challenge and invigorating experience! I also love Pilates and reading.
My greatest personal achievement is moving across the world to Australia from my hometown Dublin, Ireland. Moving to Australia nearly 5 years ago has taught me a lot and completely opened my mind and changed my outlook on life. I’m forever grateful to have the opportunity to call this beautiful country my home away from home.
