Background
Gippsland Health Alliance (GHA), brings together 11 public health services across regional Victoria to deliver shared services at scale.
GHA were mid-way through a complex project transformation to implement a standardised HR and payroll platform (SAP SuccessFactors) across multiple regional health services. The project was complex due to a highly federated environment with differing local practices, awards, and operational constraints. A loss of stakeholder confidence was triggered by schedule slippage which impacted the project’s readiness to safely go-live with their remaining sites.
At this critical point, DB Results were engaged to provide an independent review of the project. From this review GHA’s Executives gained clear visibility of solution readiness, governance required across participating agencies, and a practical roadmap to mitigate delivery risk before go-live.

What did DB Results deliver?
Following the independent review, in partnership with GHA, DB Results were engaged to deliver the project in accordance with the roadmap, meeting both schedule and cost commitments.
Over a four-week period, DB Results conducted a targeted assessment of the project backlog, ensuring all priority requirements were satisfied and non-essential tasks were removed. Following this evaluation, GHA and DB Results jointly executed the implementation phase over a further four-week period. Throughout the engagement, DB Results retained accountability for governance, delivery oversight, and executive assurance, ensuring decisions were grounded in evidence, rather than assumptions.
